Cost Management Specialist

As a seasoned cost management specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of construction projects.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cost estimation and budget management, with a deep understanding of civil construction processes. You will be responsible for analyzing project scope, validating technical specifications, optimizing costs, and working closely with project stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study project scope in-line with design requirements and validate technical specifications received from the design team.
  • Optimize specifications without deviating from client requirements and validate bill of quantities (BOQs) and backup workings.
  • Present BOQs and solutions to management and obtain approvals.
  • Check and verify request for payment (RA) bills and final bills.
  • Prepare amendments and validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design.
  • Explore new products and present them to approvals.
  • Propose optimization options in budgets and complete budget requirements within given timelines.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management requirements.
