Job Overview:

Mechanical Design Engineers play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative mechanical systems. They work extensively with computer-aided design (CAD) software, prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, and troubleshoot issues during assembly and testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in CAD software, a good understanding of materials, machining, fabrication, and assembly processes. They should be hands-on, proactive, and passionate about working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to rapidly iterate and deliver reliable equipment. You will be responsible for developing 3D CAD models, preparing detailed manufacturing drawings, and performing engineering calculations and checks for structural integrity, safety, and reliability.

Maintaining design documentation, revision records, and assembly notes is also an important aspect of this role. The Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to rapid prototyping and continuous improvement of equipment, working with senior engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and meet functional requirements.
