Job Title: Procurement Manager

  • The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of procurement processes and be able to manage the entire procure-to-pay cycle. They must possess experience in creating purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, and a solid understanding of sales orders.

A key requirement is the ability to:

  • Manage stakeholders, escalate issues, and conduct performance reviews
  • Monitor and manage supplier information, master data related to procurement, and drive transformation/automation projects for procurement
  • Reconcile purchase orders, research and resolve order exceptions, and identify potential risks

The successful candidate will also possess:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to senior management and clients
  • Excellent project management skills, analytical skills, and root cause analysis abilities

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience as a user of IT tools for supply chain planning
  • Understanding of the supply chain for the Oil & Gas or Energy Services industry
  • Creation of Power BI dashboards and knowledge of spend analytics, catalogue management, and contract management

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing material requirements and specifications, receiving bid responses, and analyzing and sharing bid responses
  • Releasing purchase orders, reconciling purchase orders, resolving supplier queries, and following up on critical purchase orders
  • Maintaining master data and updates, identifying potential risks, and establishing mitigation plans
  • Organizing meetings between teams, suppliers, and customers for issue resolution, preparing project status reports, and submitting them to senior management
