Machine Maintenance Professional

 


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring the smooth operation of machinery in a nutraceutical manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring equipment, as well as conducting routine checks to prevent downtime.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machinery used in nutraceutical manufacturing as per SOPs.\
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.\
  • Conduct routine equipment checks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.\
  • Maintain product quality standards during machine operations in line with GMP guidelines.\
  • Record machine operating data, production outputs, and downtime logs accurately.\
  • Ensure material feeding, changeovers, and line clearance are carried out as per requirements.\
  • Report and escalate equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or abnormalities promptly.\
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with the engineering team.\
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment following GHP and safety standards.\
  • Assist during audits, inspections, and documentation verification.\
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation and maintenance.\
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and address equipment-related issues.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and technological advancements related to equipment operation and maintenance.\
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems for spare parts and consumables.\
  • Develop and implement training programs for colleagues on equipment operation and maintenance.\
  • Plan and prioritize daily tasks to meet business objectives and deadlines.\
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication.\
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.\
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.\
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.\

  • Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking and reporting equipment performance.\
  • Lead and participate in equipment maintenance planning and scheduling.\
  • Monitor and report on equipment condition and recommend maintenance schedules.\
  • Develop and maintain relationships with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.\
  • Perform and manage maintenance projects, including capital expenditure projects.\
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and productivity.\
  • Assist in the development and implementation of equipment-related policies and procedures.\
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure seamless handovers and transfers of information.\
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and implement measures to achieve these savings.\
  • Proactively seek feedback from colleagues, supervisors, and customers to continually improve service delivery.\
