Mendix Administrator Job Description

A Mendix Administrator is responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the Mendix platform and its applications within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User and Access Management: Inviting new users, configuring user roles and permissions, setting up App Access Groups, ensuring appropriate access to applications and data.
  • Application Deployment and Monitoring: Deploying new applications, tracking their performance, and managing the application lifecycle.
  • Platform Configuration and Maintenance: Configuring settings within the Mendix platform, managing Marketplace content, and ensuring the platform is running smoothly.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Addressing technical issues related to the platform and applications, working with stakeholders to resolve problems.
  • Security Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the platform and its data, including user authentication and authorization.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure the platform effectively supports organizational needs.
  • Staying Updated: Remaining current with the latest platform features, security updates, and best practices.
