Senior Mendix Developer

As a seasoned Senior Mendix Developer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and deployment of innovative, scalable applications. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust Mendix applications for web and mobile platforms.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and effective solutions.
  • Ensure application scalability, performance, and security.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay current with Mendix platform updates and best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with QA, project managers, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead multiple concurrent projects and small teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in Mendix.
  • Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification required.
  • Strong understanding of Mendix architecture, microflows, domain models, and integrations.
  • Experience with REST APIs, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java (Optional).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in building scheduled events, external Integrations with other systems On-premise, SaaS/PaaS.

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
