The administrator oversees the deployment of new applications, monitors their performance, and manages the application lifecycle.

Platform Configuration and Maintenance:

They configure settings within the Mendix platform, manage Marketplace content, and ensure the platform is running smoothly.

Troubleshooting and Support:

They address issues related to the platform and applications, working with users and technical teams to resolve problems.

Security Management:

They implement and maintain security measures to protect the platform and its data, including user authentication and authorization.

Collaboration and Communication:

They work with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to understand requirements and ensure the platform effectively supports business needs.

Staying Updated:

Mendix Administrators keep up-to-date with the latest platform features, security updates, and best practices.

Specific Tasks:

• Managing Users and Groups: Adding, removing, and modifying user accounts and access rights.
  • Managing Apps: Deploying new applications, managing versions, and monitoring performance.
    • Managing Marketplace Content: Adding and configuring components from the Mendix Marketplace.
      • Monitoring Platform Health: Tracking resource usage, performance metrics, and security logs.
        • Configuring Platform Settings: Setting up company-specific configurations, such as security settings and branding.
          • Troubleshooting Issues: Investigating and resolving platform and application-related issues.
            • Documenting Processes: Creating and maintaining documentation for platform usage and administration
