Procurement Specialist Role

Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic procurement specialist to oversee and manage all procurement activities of the organization.

  • Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies aligned with business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Forecast procurement needs and create purchase plans based on project and production requirements to ensure timely delivery and cost savings.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve favorable terms and drive down costs.

About You:

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field, and at least 5-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.

Work Environment:

Office-based with occasional travel to vendor sites, factories, or warehouses. May require flexible hours depending on supplier time zones and project deadlines.
