Business Development Leader

The Business Development Leader is a pivotal role responsible for driving overall business operations in a specific region. This includes sales growth, distributor/dealer management, branch profitability, operational efficiency, and team leadership.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive Sales Growth & Manage Distributors: Develop and manage distributor, dealer, and channel partner networks to drive sales targets and revenue growth.
  2. Implement Pricing Policies: Identify new business opportunities, institutional sales, and government tenders, ensuring compliance with company SOPs and financial discipline.
  3. Manage Branch Operations: Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including billing, collections, stock, and logistics, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and complaints.
  4. Maintain Branch Profitability: Monitor and control costs to maintain branch profitability and optimize operational efficiency.
  5. Lead Team Development: Lead, motivate, and monitor the sales & support team, training them on products, software solutions, and sales processes.
  6. Customer Engagement: Strengthen relationships with key distributors, dealers, and large clients, providing insights to management through market research and competitor tracking.
  7. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all transactions follow company compliance, legal, and regulatory frameworks, preparing and presenting MIS reports, branch performance data, and sales forecasts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Leadership & Management Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills are essential to drive sales growth and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in IT or related fields, is required.
  • Communication & Relationship-Building Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are necessary to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Financial Acumen: Financial acumen with experience in branch P&L management is required to maintain branch profitability.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in competitive markets is crucial to drive sales growth and maintain operational efficiency.
Qualification & Experience

Graduate / MBA in Business Administration, Sales, or related field with minimum 7–10 years of experience in Sales/Branch Management.
