Senior Financial Regulator Job

The Senior Financial Regulator is a key role in the securities market, requiring expertise in Alternate Investment Fund regulations and sound knowledge of financial products.

This position involves leading compliance for all provisions of the SEBI Act, AIF Regulations/FEMA/IFSC regulations, and circulars. It also entails day-to-day operation management and regulatory reporting in a timely manner with the assistance of legal, accounting, and compliance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Gift City operations and its compliances on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure timely completion by assisting relevant teams.
  • Lead investors' queries related to compliance and identify issues proactively.
  • Develop efficient controls for reconciliations, risk management, and review of daily/periodical MIS and operations management.
  • Establish partnerships with incubators, accelerators, angel networks, micro-VC, run outreach programs, meet, evaluate, coach, mentor founders, and support startups' ecosystem.
  • Represent senior management and drive organizational culture and values among employees.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related activities in the securities market or financial products.
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
