Proposal Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and evaluating technical documents for project bidding processes.

  • Develop and present technical offers, system architectures, and bills of materials (BOMs) that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with specifications, commercial offers, and other project-related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and evaluate technical documents for project bidding processes.
  2. Organize bid initiation and review meetings to ensure clarity on bid submission.
  3. Lead core teams to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to requests for quotations (RFQs).
  4. Perform site visits to collect information and utility/facility constraints regarding projects.
  5. Address commercial and technical meetings with prospective clients.
  6. Monitor progress and prepare weekly reports on the status of each project.
  7. Coordinate with customers and management of material, vendors, subcontractors, and company staff.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical or electronics engineering.
  • BE degree in Electrical, Electronics, ETC, or Instrumentation.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical drawings, switchgear selection, current load calculation, bus bar selection, and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to prepare detailed technical offers, system architectures, BOMs, heat loads, and power calculations for control panels.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
