Linux System Architect Lead

We are looking for a seasoned expert to lead our Linux system architecture team. As a system architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the underlying infrastructure of our operating system.

This is a highly technical role that requires a deep understanding of Linux system architecture, boot process, and software development practices.

About the Role

As a Linux System Architect Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing the Linux system architecture for our operating system.
  • Leveraging your expertise in Linux distributions and packaging technologies to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of our system.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product vision and strategy.
  • Mentoring and growing a team of engineers to take our system to new heights.

You will be working closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and maintain the underlying infrastructure of our operating system.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of Linux system architecture, boot process, and software development practices.
  • Experience managing or leading a team of software engineers.
  • High quality software engineering knowledge in one or more of: Linux system architecture, boot process, Java/GCC/Python/Rust/Go toolchains, ARM and/or RISC-V.
  • Engagement with open source communities and processes.

As a leader, you will need to possess strong communication skills, be able to mentor and grow a team, and drive technical delivery.
