We are seeking an Embedded Linux Systems Expert to join our team. This role will involve working closely with customers to understand their requirements and providing expert advice on embedded Linux solutions.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in embedded Linux development, including knowledge of Debian or Ubuntu operating systems. They will also have solid experience with embedded Linux platforms such as Yocto and Buildroot, as well as real-time operating systems.

In addition to technical expertise, the candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, allowing them to effectively engage with customers and communicate complex technical information.

This is a remote-based role, with occasional travel required for customer meetings and company events. The ideal candidate will be proficient in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust programming languages, and will have a strong understanding of Linux plumbing, including containerization and system debugging.

The Embedded Linux Systems Expert will play a key role in delivering select projects related to embedded Linux, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to convey market requirements and develop generic solutions to unlock market potential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Extensive Linux experience - Debian or Ubuntu preferred
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...) or RTOS
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Result-oriented, ability to multi-task
  • A personal drive to meet commitments
