Hardware Design Engineer

Our team is seeking a skilled Electronics Hardware Design Expert to drive the development of cutting-edge automotive audio systems. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for creating innovative hardware architectures and selecting high-quality components to meet the demanding requirements of the automotive industry.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the design of next-generation automotive audio systems. You will work closely with our vehicle architecture, safety engineer, and buyer/purchasing teams to ensure that the chosen components meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create innovative hardware architectures for automotive audio systems.
  • Select and recommend high-quality components that meet performance, reliability, and cost requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet regulatory and quality standards.
  • Develop technical expertise in recommending electronic audio components, including amplifiers, ADCs, DSPs, and digital interfaces.
  • Familiarity with relevant automotive safety and quality standards, such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Experience with acoustic measurement instruments and audio data acquisition systems.
  • Work proactively with silicon vendor partners to drive design features and technology road maps.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural roles.
  • Knowledge of In-vehicle infotainment systems, Audio systems, Automotive vehicle connectivity systems, and ECU design.
  • Strong teamwork spirit, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the automotive industry (OEM, TIER1, TIER2).
  • Understanding and knowledge of Board software/Bring up software, Audio DSP, and MCUs.
  • Knowledge of safety standards including ISO 26262, Euro NAP, and Security regulations would be a plus.
