Automotive Electronics Hardware Leadership Role

The Automotive Embedded Hardware Director is a strategic leader responsible for the technical delivery of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs, including Instrument clusters, In-vehicle Infotainment, Camera, Information displays, and Cockpit Electronics Controllers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical hardware design on independent design tasks.
  • Review customer specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Design and develop Automotive Products using Micro, SOC's, High-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, high-speed design for automotive applications.
  • Develop and maintain digital core, audio, camera, and video signals, analog, and digital control logic, linear, and switching power supplies for automotive applications.
  • Perform worst-case analysis and simulations to ensure compliance to customer requirements.
  • Support product design reviews and create/maintain schematic and assembly drawings.
  • Develop and maintain electrical DFMEA and generate electrical information for ECAD for PCB layout.
  • Support hardware prototype build, create product verification plan, and perform testing.
  • Support EMC and validation testing, utilizing structured problem-solving techniques for test failure resolution.
  • Present product design, analysis, and testing to customers.

Required Skills:

  • Lab equipment experience with power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multi-meters.
