Job Title: Executive Finance
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Executive to join our team at Ascendion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit;
- Audit and processing of payment vouchers for the services received from sub-tier vendor company;
- Validate invoices of service providers and solve discrepancies, if any;
- Prepare and do analysis of audit reports for the services received from sub-tier vendors and payment reconciliation along with finding reasons for delay in making payments from grassroot level;
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices;
- Audit and processing business related expenses incurred by employees in their day to day work;
- Tracking of deductions to be made from the payments to vendors while releasing payments;
- Connecting and communicating with consultants/vendors to resolve/answer queries.
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; communications skills - specifically written and oral;
- Bachelor degree in Commerce;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Computer skills – should have knowledge of Outlook and MS-office. Should have basic knowledge of Excel and should be able to use various formulas in excel;
- Attention to detail and organizational skills evident in the preparation of accurate weekly and monthly reports within tight deadlines;
- Good understanding of general accounting procedures.
