BIM Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead our organization's Building Information Modeling strategy, implementation, and management across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and proven experience in managing large-scale BIM-enabled projects. They should be able to develop, implement, and manage BIM execution strategies, protocols, and standards across the organization.

  • Develop and Implement BIM Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution strategies, protocols, and standards across the organization.
  • Lead BIM Team: Lead the BIM team and coordinate with multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Oversee Project Delivery: Oversee BIM project delivery for infrastructure, buildings, and industrial projects.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with national and international BIM standards (ISO 19650, etc.).
  • Integrate BIM with Project Management: Integrate BIM with project management, design, cost estimation, and construction workflows.
  • Manage BIM Software Platforms: Manage BIM software platforms (Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.) and coordinate with IT for upgrades and support.
  • Quality Assurance/Control: Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on BIM models and outputs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in BIM, with at least 12 years in a leadership/managerial role.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong expertise in BIM platforms such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and related digital tools.
  • Project Experience: Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
  • BIM Standards Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of BIM standards, LOD specifications, and coordination processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
