Sales and Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in transformer sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets in Zone West.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop and promote technical specifications and marketing activities.
- Promote our portfolio to various segments, including industries, utilities, EPCs, and OEMs.
- Conduct market research and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Monitor market price levels, competitor strategies, and customer needs to inform bid and proposal teams.
- Capture and maintain market data in Salesforce (SFDC) on a regular basis.
- Participate in customer meetings and present technical offerings.
- Monitor order execution and support project handling teams to execute orders and collect payments.
- Report sales performance in necessary tools, including SFDC.
- Address customer complaints using the Customer Complaint Resolution Process (CCRP).
- Adhere to HITACHI ENERGY's core values of safety and integrity.
Requirements:
- University degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in transformer sales.
- Strong communication and customer focus skills.
- Ability to manage and facilitate change.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
