Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record in transformer sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets in Zone West.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and promote technical specifications and marketing activities.
  • Promote our portfolio to various segments, including industries, utilities, EPCs, and OEMs.
  • Conduct market research and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor market price levels, competitor strategies, and customer needs to inform bid and proposal teams.
  • Capture and maintain market data in Salesforce (SFDC) on a regular basis.
  • Participate in customer meetings and present technical offerings.
  • Monitor order execution and support project handling teams to execute orders and collect payments.
  • Report sales performance in necessary tools, including SFDC.
  • Address customer complaints using the Customer Complaint Resolution Process (CCRP).
  • Adhere to HITACHI ENERGY's core values of safety and integrity.

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in transformer sales.
  • Strong communication and customer focus skills.
  • Ability to manage and facilitate change.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
