Physiotherapy Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition, mobility, strength, range of motion, and functional limitations.

• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and clinical expertise.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Administer various therapeutic techniques and modalities, such as manual therapy, exercises, electrotherapy, and heat/cold therapy.
• Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation: Provide treatments for injuries, fractures, joint disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation to enhance recovery and restore function.
• Neurological Rehabilitation: Work with patients who have neurological disorders or injuries, such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, or multiple sclerosis, to improve mobility and function.
• Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation: Assist patients with heart and lung conditions to improve cardiovascular fitness, breathing techniques, and overall endurance.
• Pain Management: Use techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and discomfort.
• Education: Educate patients about their conditions, self-management strategies, and exercises to continue at home.
• Gait Training: Help patients improve walking patterns and balance through gait training and assistive devices.
• Functional Training: Assist patients in regaining functional skills necessary for daily activities and independence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy or a related field.
• Licensure to practice as a physiotherapist in the state where the position is located.
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in physiotherapy.
