**Job Title:** Respiratory Care Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of respiratory therapy programs.

Responsibilities
  1. Patient Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with respiratory conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  2. Oxygen Therapy and Respiratory Treatments: Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and monitoring of patient response.
  3. Chest Physiotherapy and Interventions: Perform chest physiotherapy and other respiratory interventions to improve lung function and promote patient comfort.
  4. Monitoring and Documentation: Continuously monitor patients' respiratory status, documenting all care activities and maintaining accurate medical records.
  5. Patient Education: Participate in patient and family education programs to promote understanding of respiratory care and management.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program or equivalent experience.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a registered respiratory therapist (RRT) or certified respiratory therapist (CRT).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, practices, and equipment; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
