Reservations Operations Manager

Job Description:
">The primary role of this position is to oversee the Reservations Team and ensure the efficient operation of day-to-day activities. This includes managing telephone, fax, and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner, adhering to company standards for accuracy and attention to detail.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development of future and repeat business opportunities;">
- Manage bookings, guaranteeing them and applying no show charges or late cancellation fees where necessary;">
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel facilities and processes;">
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business;">
- Ensure Team Members are developed effectively and maintain high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts;">
- Recruit, manage, train, and develop the Reservations Team;">
- Develop sales leads and respond to sales opportunities to maximise revenue.">
Requirements:
">This position requires an individual with excellent organisational and administration skills, a positive attitude, and good communication skills. A high level of customer service is essential, as is a confident telephone manner. The ideal candidate will also have a high level of IT skills and excellent grooming standards.
">Desirable Qualifications:
">Prior experience in the Reservations Sales function within the hotel leisure sector is advantageous. Relevant degrees or other qualifications in a business discipline would also be beneficial.
