Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled network engineer with system administration expertise to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting network operations while also handling system administration tasks for servers, storage, and related infrastructure.

This role requires a balance of networking knowledge and system admin experience to ensure high availability, security, and performance of enterprise IT systems.

Our team is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports our business operations. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and support Layer 2 (switching) and Layer 3 (routing) network infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Handle VLANs, trunking, STP, port security, and link aggregation.
  • Assist in escalated issues from L1 engineers and coordinate with vendors if required.
  • Perform periodic network health checks, patching, and firmware upgrades.
  • Document network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in networking and system administration roles.
  • Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, QoS).
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/HP/Aruba switches and routers.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Mac system administration.
  • Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix, etc.).
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) is a plus.
