Chief IT Officer

We seek a visionary Chief IT Officer to lead our organization's technology strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and directing enterprise IT operations, with a strong background in innovation and infrastructure.

  • The Chief IT Officer will oversee all hardware and software deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support based on the company's IT strategy.
  • This role will also develop configuration and monitoring standards for network performance and implement controls to ensure these standards are maintained.
  • The Chief IT Officer will analyze complex business needs presented by users and customers and recommend technical solutions.
  • This role will develop plans for new project implementation, coordinating process deliverables with project leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing, complying with, and maintaining IT policies and procedures.
  • Designing, configuring, and optimizing hardware, operating systems, networks, storage, and backup devices for reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Configuring and supervising management tools including monitoring, security, and backup tools.
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to application delivery via Citrix and AWS.
  • Coaching and directing IT staff in operational activities to ensure compliance with organizational needs and objectives.
  • Maintaining awareness of changing IT trends, best practices, and regulations that impact operational efficiency and business continuity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; IT, CIS, Computer Science, or similar field strongly preferred.
  • PACS/Clinical imaging experience is advantageous.
  • 12-15 years of experience managing and directing enterprise IT operations.
  • Enterprise, networking, virtualization, or security certifications are desirable.
  • Minimum of three years' experience with HIPAA and/or GDPR.
