Chief Process Development Manager

Lead the development of chemical processes for pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects. Ensure that all process calculations, such as heat and mass balances, are performed accurately and efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Engineering: Develop and implement process designs for API, OSD, and Biotech projects. Perform calculations for line sizing, relief loads, and PSV calculations.
  2. Simulation and Modeling: Utilize software such as HYSYS and ASPEN to simulate and model process flows. Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  3. Design Review: Conduct thorough design reviews to ensure consistency and safety in construction and operation.
  4. Hazop and PHA Reviews: Lead hazop and PHA reviews to identify potential hazards and risks.
  5. Thermal Rating and Hydraulics: Perform thermal rating and hydraulic calculations for heat exchangers.
  6. Candidate Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 18-20 years of experience in process engineering for pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of process calculations, simulation software, and design principles.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
