Financial Assistant - Accounting Role

Seeking a skilled Financial Assistant to support our accounting functions. This role will involve financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled for financial reporting purposes.
Accounting Entries & Record Keeping:
  • Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as required by financial regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable for smooth financial operations.
  • Ensure timely posting of transactions in the accounting system for real-time financial reporting.
  • Prepare and verify general ledger balances for annual audits.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review and external stakeholders.
Ad-hoc Financial Tasks:
  • Address any urgent financial or accounting queries as required by management or external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for financial matters and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
General Accounting & Support Functions:
  • Collaborate with the finance team for smooth financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation processes and accounting principles.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Unit4, Zoho, or SAP).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of IFRS / Ind AS.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
