Job Title: Enterprise Security Specialist

About the Role:

The role involves conducting regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in applications and working with development teams to design secure software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting security audits and penetration testing as required.
  • Identifying security flaws inherent in different languages and technologies.
  • Experience in API development/testing and API security.
  • Established experience with Agile (including Scrum and Kanban) and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
  • Experience with cloud technologies like GCP, Containers and Serverless.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in multiple programming languages.
  • Advanced understanding of security concepts and threat modeling.
  • Hands on experience with SAST, DAST, Jira, and Confluence tools.
  • Knowledge of security technologies like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.

Benefits:

Problem-solving Skills:

  • Ability to analyze problems, determine root causes, and devise plans to resolve them.
  • Ability to navigate rapidly changing landscapes while handling multiple responsibilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Information assurance.
  • A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE), or Secure Software Practitioner (SSP) certifications are beneficial.
