Student Counselling Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Student Counselling Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in guiding students on admissions, placements, and scholarships for the UK.

  • Handle offer holders and drive conversions specifically for Russell Group universities.
  • Guide students with accurate and updated information on UK admissions, placements, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Coordinate with counsellors, provide regular training, and ensure they are well-informed about UK higher education trends.
  • Monitor and review team cases related to Russell Group universities.
  • Prepare and present weekly reports on conversion progress to management.
  • Support students throughout their application journey, ensuring high-quality counselling and personalised guidance.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in student counselling for the UK.
  • Strong knowledge of Russell Group universities, programs, and application requirements.
  • Understanding of UK higher education market dynamics, placements, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent multitasking, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM tools, etc.).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students through the university application process, providing them with accurate and up-to-date information on UK admissions, placements, and scholarship opportunities.

They will also be responsible for coordinating with counsellors, providing regular training, and ensuring that they are well-informed about UK higher education trends.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing team cases related to Russell Group universities, preparing and presenting weekly reports on conversion progress to management, and supporting students throughout their application journey.
