Human Resource Assistant

The Human Resource Assistant is a critical role within our organization, responsible for the recruitment and onboarding process, as well as maintaining employee records and HRIS databases. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
    • Assist in end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, follow-ups)
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
    • Manage onboarding formalities and induction process for new hires
  • HR Operations & Generalist Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate employee records and update HRIS databases
    • Draft offer letters, contracts, and HR communications
    • Support attendance tracking, leave management, and basic payroll coordination
    • Assist in compliance-related documentation
  • Employee Engagement & Events:
    • Plan and execute internal employee events, birthdays, team-building activities, and celebrations
    • Create and maintain a positive employee-friendly office culture
    • Collect feedback and assist with initiatives to boost employee morale
  • Internal Communication & PR:
    • Help manage internal communication channels
    • Support social media content creation and posting for HR and employer branding initiatives
    • Liaise with external agencies/vendors for event and PR coordination
