About This Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to take on the challenge of designing and developing scalable pipelines that efficiently process and transform large volumes of data using Spark.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deploy efficient data pipelines using Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Utilize Snowflake Spark SQL to perform complex aggregations on high volumes of data.
  • Develop stored procedures, views, indexes, triggers and functions in Snowflake Database to maintain data integrity and share with downstream applications via APIs.
  • Collaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting pipelines and infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a data engineer with expertise in data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with experience in data manipulation libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Spark for data querying and aggregations.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services such as Data Factory, Databricks and Datalake.
