Compliance Associate

Job Summary:

A Compliance Associate is responsible for ensuring legal integrity and upholding standards. They will work closely with the team to identify, document, and communicate client contract requirements.

About the Role:

  • Contract Compliance: The Compliance Associate will be the champion of contract compliance, identifying, documenting, and communicating client contract requirements to internal stakeholders.
  • Template Management: They will ensure that contractor contract templates used by Assignment Support Teams are in line with client terms, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Audit Support: The Compliance Associate will assist colleagues in conducting internal audits of business activities, focusing on compliance with contractor pre-engagement screening and onboarding requirements.
  • Database Maintenance: They will maintain accurate and up-to-date databases related to commercial compliance, ensuring all information is easily accessible and well-organized.
  • Procedure Adherence: The Compliance Associate will adhere to established commercial compliance procedures, ensuring consistency and reliability in all compliance activities.
  • Additional Duties: They will undertake other duties as needed to support the company's high commercial compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree (law preferred) or equivalent experience is required.

Experience:

  • The Compliance Associate must have at least 2+ years of experience in a corporate or in-house environment, preferably with a law degree or Contract Management course completion, previous experience in contractual compliance or contract management, or proficiency in reading contracts and identifying client requirements.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident telephone and video call manner.

Organizational Skills:

  • Strong ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Learning Agility:

  • Quick learner with the ability to follow new processes consistently.

Documentation Skills:

  • Experience in accurately documenting and filing information.

Independence:

  • Ability to work well independently while knowing when to seek guidance from team members.

Pressure Handling:

  • Experience working in high-pressure environments.
