Job Title: Cybersecurity Risk Auditor

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Risk Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our audit department, you will be responsible for monitoring and detecting security threats within an organization's IT infrastructure.

About the Role:
  • This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, or compliance focused on ITGC or SOC controls.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust audit methodologies to ensure the highest level of security standards.
  • Analyze and evaluate audit findings, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Pursue certifications relevant to Schellman's services, such as CISA, CISSP, or AWS CCP.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Schellman's service lines, their leaders, and relevant professional standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, technology, or a related subject area.
  • 2+ years of experience in information security auditing, assessment, consulting, or compliance focused on ITGC or SOC controls.
  • Able to travel approximately 40-50% of the time (Monday-Thursday).
  • Maintains (preferred) or working towards obtaining at least one certification relevant to Schellman's services.
