Job Description:

We seek a skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the development of high-quality integrated data assets that support analytical modeling and visualization. This role requires a strong analytical mind with technical expertise and a passion for delivering insights that drive business value.

The successful candidate will have top-notch technical skills, excellent analytics exposure and a deep understanding of customer journeys to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Design and implement robust data models that capture business performance from a customer experience lens.
  • Gather and transform large datasets into well-built integrated data assets using SQL, AWS Glue or other emerging technologies.
  • Recommend and build extensible data models that meet business requirements.
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy and develop automated processes to detect issues proactively.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of critical customer experience data assets.
  • Collaborate with data science teams on exploratory data analysis and KPI development.
  • Validate and tune complex SQL queries.
  • Train team members on best practices for SQL, AWS and Tableau.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science or engineering.
  • 3-6 years of experience in data-driven solutions.
  • Expertise in writing advanced SQL queries and experience with Python (NumPy & Pandas) and EDA/data processing tools like AWS Glue, S3 or Redshift.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or Power Bi for advanced visualization.
  • Focused on data infrastructure and analytics.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of statistical/machine learning tools.
  • Prior experience in Delta or similar industries.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
