Job Overview

As a key member of our culinary team, the Chef De Partie will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of a workstation engaged in preparing and cooking food products. This role is an entry point for future management responsibilities, knowledge, skills, and craftsmanship.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service. A culinary school degree and strong management skills in a multicultural environment are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate workstation activities
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to employees
  • Organize work schedules and control overtime
  • Ensure food items are prepared and presented according to corporate recipe standards
  • Train and monitor entry-level cooks and chefs
  • Conduct inventory and prepare daily requisitions
  • Apply HACCP and sanitation standards
  • Operate equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Work with galley personnel in a cooperative manner
