Electrical Infrastructure Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Lead to support the Senior Project Manager in leading, planning, and executing large-scale electrical works under various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project delivery.
    • Lead the execution of electrical infrastructure development including power distribution lines, substations, and related infrastructure.
    • Monitor progress against schedule, budget, and quality parameters; identify variances and implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.
  • Business Development:
    • Explore and create business opportunities in the electrical infrastructure sector.
    • Ensure timely submission of technical & financial bids for project awards.
    • Ensure bid-to-win ratio as per internal plan.
  • Team Management:
    • Mentor junior project managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, contractors, and local communities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically in electrical infrastructure development or power distribution.
  • Overseas experience is preferable.
  • Strong expertise in electrical infrastructure development, project management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale electrical infrastructure projects internationally or in challenging environments.
  • Travel/Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Benin and travel to any location for site visits and coordination.
