Public Relations Specialist

We are seeking a communications professional with 3–4 years of experience to drive our media presence. The ideal candidate is well-connected with journalists and media outlets, has a strong grasp of both traditional and digital communications, and understands the unique needs of NGOs and social enterprises.
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with our mission.
- Build strong relationships across print, digital, and broadcast.
- Draft and distribute press releases, features, and stories for NGO/CSR audiences.
- Search for niche and mass platforms to uplift our reach and brand.
- Drive coverage and manage digital communications on portals, blogs, and social platforms.
- Organize events, interviews, and media engagements, if required.
- Track coverage, prepare reports, and measure communication impact.
- Support internal teams on campaigns and ensure consistent communication for social and PR purposes.
- Network and communicate with organizations that celebrate and recognize NGOs and strive for awards and recognition on our behalf.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Mass Comm/PR/Journalism degree
- 3–4 yrs communications experience (NGO/CSR preferred)
- Strong media network across India, digital + traditional communications
- Excellent writing & communication
- Independent, creative, deadline-driven
