Job Title: Corporate Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional internal and external communication skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective corporate and external communication strategies, including internal and external communication on social media. They will also manage internal communications through collaboration with the comms and biz teams.

Key responsibilities include researching, writing, or vetting content and design for emails, newsletters, org website, infographics, social media, etc., as well as planning and initiating communication initiatives for org events.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project management principles and excellent knowledge of MS Office. A bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a relevant field is required.

In this role, you will work closely with leaders across the organization and the comms team to meet all deadlines, build a brand, and drive strategic messages to internal teams and external customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven 4+ or 8+ years' experience as a communications specialist for internal and external communication, preferably in large organizations
  • Experience in copywriting and editing for all platforms
  • Solid understanding of project management principles
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities across locations & teams
  • Works well under pressure and meets timelines
