Chief Financial Officer

A 360° HR Advisory firm dedicated to helping startups scale, evolve, and grow is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer. As a trusted advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure seamless monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure audit readiness.
  • Enforce compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Develop and maintain robust systems for handling financial data and processes.
  • Provide critical financial insights and support management with important decisions and budgeting.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to drive overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in manufacturing, service, or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Candidates with business acumen are preferred.
