The Senior Financial Operations Director will oversee the financial planning, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and treasury functions of the organization.

This role involves managing project accounting, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, and supporting business growth through strong financial governance and cost control.

The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to management, ensuring financial discipline and transparency

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensuring timely MIS reporting, variance analysis, and financial projections
  • Monitoring project-wise profitability and cash flow management
  • Implementing cost control measures to optimize project margins

Additionally, this role requires:

  • Preparing annual budgets and forecasts in alignment with business objectives
  • Monitoring actual performance against budgets and providing actionable insights
  • Tracking project-specific budgets and supporting project managers with financial data

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA) / MBA (Finance)
  • Experience: 12–18 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in the construction / infrastructure / real estate industry
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems -SAP preferred

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting standards (Ind AS/AS-7, revenue recognition, WIP, etc.)
  • Expertise in taxation, statutory compliances, and financial controls
  • Proven ability to manage project costing, billing cycles, and subcontractor accounts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Leadership, team management, and effective communication abilities
