Senior Manager/Associate Director Technical Accounting

We are seeking a seasoned technical accounting professional to lead our financial operations.

About the Role:

The Senior Manager/Associate Director of Technical Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance functions of our global entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and public accounting standards. This includes preparation and finalization of financial statements, notes to accounts, involving multiple subsidiaries and multicurrency consolidation as per US GAAP and public accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and finalization of financial statements, including notes to accounts, involving multiple subsidiaries and multicurrency consolidation as per US GAAP and public accounting.
  • Lead the month-end closure activities and ensure accuracy and completeness with regards to the balance sheet schedules.
  • Lead the technical accounting function, drafting of memos, implementing new standards.
  • Support various aspects of the integrated audit, including planning, interim testing, quarter-end tasks, audit requests, and cost-saving efficiencies.
  • Lead and finalize annual US and foreign entities audit with big audit firm.
  • Manage the flow of information and supporting documentation from various parts of the organization to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Lead improvements to financial systems and implement new systems and processes for efficient functioning and distribution of financial information.

Requirements:

  • CA or CPA equivalent with 6-8 years of experience preferably in a software or hi-tech industry.
  • Currently handling and mentoring a team.
  • Experience in a public company or big 4 audit firms.
  • NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Experience with design and implementation of accounting policies and procedures and internal controls.
  • Highly detail-oriented, strong judgment, time management ability, and unimpeachable integrity.
  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and Software revenue accounting experience preferred.
