About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Scanning Electron Microscope development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the mechanical architecture of our instrument.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the mechanical components of our instrument, ensuring speed, stability, and serviceability.
  • Develop the assembly and test playbook, including fixtures, torque specs, and metrology checks.
  • Qualify and scale India-based and global suppliers, partnering closely to improve yield and finish quality.
  • Lead system-level integration, balancing optics, electronics, thermal, acoustic, and safety needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience delivering precision electromechanical systems.
  • Comfortable with vacuum practice, precision motion, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, design for manufacturability.
  • Hands-on problem-solver with an eye for ergonomics and field-service.
