Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Unlock the future of aerospace technology by developing innovative electro-mechanical systems for avionics and electronic systems.

As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-precision electro-mechanical systems, defining selection criteria for key electronics & mechanical components, testing, and validating them for use in different sub-systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electro-Mechanical System Design: Develop comprehensive designs for electro-mechanical systems, including definition of selection criteria for key electronics & mechanical components, testing, and validation.
  • Integration and Testing: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate embedded systems with mechanical systems, ensuring alignment in design parameters and tolerance considerations.
  • Testing and Verification: Develop and implement comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure the robustness and integrity of embedded software & mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with embedded software development & mechanical systems, proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, robotics, Aeronautical (Avionics).
  • Design Instincts: Strong electro-mechanical design instincts and a thorough understanding of dynamics & control.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on expertise in housing electronic & circuit assembly.
  • CAD Software: Working/ basic Knowledge of any parametric modelling CAD software.
  • GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up: Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
