Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned quality assurance expert with specialization in functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile methodologies, possess a solid understanding of the banking domain, and be proficient in Selenium/BDD Cucumber framework.

  • Work collaboratively within an agile environment to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand application/domain requirements, develop test cases, execute tests, and manage defects effectively.
  • Analyze project requirements, contribute meaningfully to well-defined acceptance criteria, estimate tasks accurately, and remain committed throughout the process.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans that prioritize product quality and stability.
  • Write test cases and automate execution processes to guarantee that acceptance criteria are met.
  • Design and implement automated regression test suites for continuous assurance.
  • Review and refine test designs, plans, and cases to ensure thorough coverage.
  • Establish and track QA metrics to measure automation effectiveness.
  • Mimic end-to-end user scenarios through UAT testing.
  • Validate production by conducting sanity tests and data validations.
  • Apply innovative solutions to reduce operational risks by automating mundane tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate closely with agile teams to ensure testing aligns with project timelines and requirements effectively.
  • Apply deep knowledge of the banking domain to enhance testing processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Conduct thorough functional and automation testing using Selenium/BDD Cucumber framework.
  • Utilize test management tools like JIRA for tracking and managing test cases and defects efficiently.
  • Exhibit expertise in QA automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance tests.
  • Exhibit expertise in QA automation of data flows, data analysis, and SQL.
  • Exhibit expertise in testing non-functional requirements.
  • Exhibit expertise in testing enterprise integrations through RESTful APIs and Kafka messaging.
  • Display familiarity with Authentication, Authorization, and Security principles.
  • Good to have SQL/oracle database expertise.
  • Display strong banking domain knowledge.
  • Proficient in STLC process with excellent testing skills.
  • Experience in Test Management tools like JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills when interacting with various teams.
  • Collaborative mindset, self-driven, and task ownership.
