Job Title: Value Chain Promotion Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Value Chain Promotion Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing strategies to promote sustainable value chains, focusing on business model development, market linkages, and access to finance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work with us and contribute to our mission of promoting sustainable value chains.

The Value Chain Promotion Strategist will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing strategies to promote sustainable value chains;
  • Conducting technical workshops with stakeholders, including market engagement sessions;
  • Identifying key market players and facilitating linkages, business development pitches, and financing initiatives;
  • Developing capacity-building modules for target beneficiaries collaborating with consortium partners;
  • Drafting, reviewing, and submitting all relevant reports to the Team Leader.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Finance, or Business;
  • English and Hindi language proficiency;
  • No less than 8 years of professional experience in natural resources management, agroforestry, and nature-based businesses;
  • At least 5 years of experience in value chain promotion, marketing, business model development, and establishing market linkages, including providing access to finance with a focus on agro/agroforestry/ayurvedic products;
  • Experience working in projects in India;
  • Strong business model development and financial linkage skills;
  • Capacity-building and training development abilities;
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
