The Senior Manager - Operations, Sustainability Solutions is a key role within our organization.

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the team in ensuring timely compliance with regulations on behalf of brands required to meet Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brands adhere to existing rules and regulations
  • Standardize formats according to government, brand, or Recykal requirements
  • Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands
  • Proactive follow-ups with key brands and stakeholders associated with Recykal
  • Ensure attention to detail, particularly in compliance-related documentation
  • Manage multiple teams on-field and off-field
  • Optimize processes for completion efficiency
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors for smooth operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives actively
  • E nsure operational activities remain on time and within defined parameters
  • Track staffing requirements, hire new employees as needed
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a time-sensitive environment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve implementation processes
  • Collaborate with legal and safety departments to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in handling operations
  • Past experience in waste management is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with solid ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work in a team
