Head of Quality and Sustainability Job Description

The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in influencing senior leadership decisions, ensuring adherence to global organization quality standards and sustainability goals as well as compliance to international standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include acting as the voice of quality in the leadership team, influencing decision-making to drive quality outcomes. You will develop partnership, collaborate with global quality leaders to deploy best-in-class quality systems.

Additional responsibilities include developing and executing the quality strategy, vision, roadmap, and objectives aligned with business objectives, maintenance of effective quality management systems (QMS) for the GCC aligned with global quality strategy.

You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements applicable to our company from time to time. Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve quality, customer satisfaction, and business performance.

Establish robust processes for quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), audits, inspections, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Own audit readiness, certification, and regulatory compliance across functions.

Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor, measure, and report on quality performance across the organization, lead preventive and corrective actions. Champion a quality-centric culture, fostering continuous learning and quality ownership at every organizational level.

Collaborate closely with local and global stakeholders and external partners to align on quality expectations and to embed quality into all processes.

Build and lead a high-performing quality team; mentor and develop talent. Conduct regular training and awareness programs to ensure compliance and drive behavioral change.

Assess risks proactively and implement robust risk management and mitigation strategies. Stay abreast of technological advancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes to keep the organization ahead.
