Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to fill a pivotal role in our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, leadership, and technical architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant services that meet the needs of our business.
  • Collaborate with product management to envision future features and plan product roadmaps that drive innovation.
  • Create solution architectures that align with our business objectives.
  • Foster collaborative design discussions and drive design reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Implement solutions that are secure, observable, and align with our company's standards.
  • Determine continuous improvement through regular feedback and driving architectural standards and best practices.

Tech Stack:

  • Microsoft technologies: C#, TypeScript & NestJS, Node.js, .NET Core, .NET Framework
  • Microservices, event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or other event processing services
  • Modern UI frameworks: React.js, Angular
  • Cloud platforms (AWS): EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, VPC
  • CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, YAML, PowerShell
  • GenAI technologies including LLM fine-tuning, RAG architecture implementation, prompt engineering
  • Relational and NoSQL databases
  • Docker, Kubernetes, observability tools: Splunk, ELK Stack, DataDog

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of technical engineering leadership experience
  • 5-10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development
  • Experience driving engineering best practices for high-functioning software engineering teams
  • Passion for building large-scale back-end services and APIs
  • Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms
  • A strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern infrastructure operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DataBricks with Python knowledge is an added advantage
  • AWS/Azure Developer and architect certification is a plus
