Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team.

  • As an SDET, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and functional needs, translate product requirements into effective test scenarios, and participate in business requirement discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions independently to clarify requirements and data dependencies.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Contribute to test strategy and planning for new features and enhancements.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with exposure to settlement or capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of trade life cycle and related financial processes testing.
  • Proven ability to lead requirement discussions and derive test cases independently.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as Java 8, JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JavaScript, Jest, Rest Assured, Cucumber, testing methodologies frameworks TDD BDD & Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience in testing REST APIs and messaging solutions such as Solace, MQ, Kafka, relational/NoSQL database concepts.
  • Experience in framework ownership, test strategy, and mentoring juniors.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
