Visionary Role in Cloud-Based Software Development
Baxter is a pioneering company in the field of kidney care, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure coverage and quality of our cloud-based software
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Python/Java/Ruby
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine test strategies and effort estimations
- Ensure complete test coverage of software changes and scope
- Drive reviews with quality teams and ensure closure of all comments and gaps
- Communicate test results and defect reports to stakeholders periodically
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in software testing with a minimum of 4 years in test automation
- Proficient in testing methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques
- Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Ruby
- Hands-on experience in building test automation using Selenium
- Experience in testing cloud-based applications (PaaS/SaaS/IaaS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Background/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 6-10 years of related work experience
