Software Verification and Validation Engineer

Baxter: A Leader in Kidney Care
Baxter is a pioneering company in the development of innovative solutions for patients with kidney disease. We are seeking a skilled Software Verification and Validation Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and support of our cloud-based software related to our connected medicine strategy.
The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 4 years in test automation. They will be proficient in testing methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques, and have solid programming skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for test case design, test execution, test data preparation, test automation, and defect reporting to ensure coverage and quality. They will also contribute to test framework development and software tool validation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases to ensure coverage and quality
- Contribute to test framework development and software tool validation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine test strategies and effort estimations
- Ensure complete test coverage of software changes and scope
- Communicate test results and defect reports to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in software testing with a minimum of 4 years in test automation
- Proficient in testing methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques
- Solid programming skills
- Hands-on experience in building test automation using Selenium with Python/Java/Ruby
Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related specialization
Desired Skills:
- ISTQB Certification
- Experience in verification for renal care/dialysis products
