Risk Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to develop, implement and review credit risk models & associated frameworks in a rural/semi-urban lending context. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle-acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell & collections.

  • The role involves reviewing the portfolio on a periodic basis across various risk metrics for early warning signals and analyzing portfolio trends to track portfolio quality on accepted risk parameters.
  • You will ensure that risk policies are timely reviewed and reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
Key Responsibilities:

This role entails:

  1. Developing, implementing and reviewing credit risk models and associated frameworks in a rural/semi-urban lending context.
  2. Implementing and monitoring credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle-acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell & collections.
  3. Reviewing the portfolio on a periodic basis across various risk metrics for early warning signals and analyzing portfolio trends to track portfolio quality on accepted risk parameters.
  4. Ensuring that risk policies are timely reviewed and reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field from a top-tier college.
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a NBFC/Fintech/Lending institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Python and SQL is mandatory.
  • You should have excellent understanding of data and ability to bring insights.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical models is required.
  • Experience in Microfinance/MSME Lending is an added advantage.
